The SIG secretary safeguards all archival records of the SIG, keeps minutes of SIG-related meetings, updates information regarding SIG policies and infrastructure, maintains resources for SIG members on the SIG's website, maintains the SIG roster up-to-date and well communicated with the Division, and generally fulfills the functions of a Secretary in responding to the needs of the SIG's leadership and members.

Dr. Kristie Vail Schultz is a Licensed Psychologist with Norton Children’s Behavioral and Mental Health, additionally providing inpatient consultation to patients with diabetes at Norton Children's Hospital. She is an Associate Professor at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychology (CAPP), where she is the Director of Training for both the Pre-Doctoral Child Clinical and Pediatric Psychology Internship Program and Pediatric Psychology Fellowship Programs.  Along with her colleagues, she co-founded the CAPP's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, as well as created and implemented an intentionally anti-racist and diversity-focused training curriculum for the division's psychology and psychiatry training programs.  Dr. Schultz is committed to cultural humility and life-long learning in both teaching and patient care.  Dr. Schultz earned her bachelors’ degrees from Tulane University and her master’s and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of Mississippi; she completed her internship and fellowship in Pediatric Psychology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr. Schultz’s areas of clinical interest include adolescent mental health and chronic illness coping in youth.
