The SIG Trainee Members-At-Large represent student membership within the Diversity SIG, promote student interests in SIG initiatives, encourage trainee participation in the SIG, and work with the SIG Co-Chairs and Secretary in efforts related to the SIG's mission.

Erica Carter, PhD

Dr. Erica Carter is a Fellow at Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital. She graduated from North Carolina State University in 2024 and completed her internship/residency specializing in Integrated Primary Care at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Carter is passionate about promoting health equity in clinical practice and research within pediatric psychology. As a Trainee-Member at Large, she is dedicated to demystifying the diverse training pathways into Pediatric Psychology, amplifying the voices and lived/living experiences of trainees, particularly those historically excluded and underrepresented in the field, and advocating for ecological perspectives that support culturally responsive care.
